For those unfamiliar,  Ranma 1/2 is an anime form the 80s/90s about a boy, Ranma Saotome who sufferers form a terrible curse (so called).  At a place called Jyusenkyo, which is full of cursed springs, Ranma was flung into the “Spring of Drowned Girl.” American fans would call his male form “Ranma-kun” and his female form “Ranma-chan” respectively.

Now, whenever he is touched by cold water, he becomes a redheaded girl! Hot water changes him back. The show is fun, wacky and immensely endearing. The art may be a bit dated, but it comes with the highest of recommendations.
